Planting Guidelines
Growing a rosemary requires sun, good drainage and air circulation. Select an area that receives full sun and where the soil is sandy, well drained. Plant into the ground in a whole that is 12 inched in diameter and same depth as the root ball. Rosemary plants do very well potted or in a container.
Winter Care
When temperatures dip below 30 degrees, rosemary plants will have to spend the winter indoors. Make sure enough sunlight is provided.
Potting & Container
Re-pot your rosemary about once a year in Springtime, select a large pot size. Grow in a pot with at least 12 inches of diameter to allow for root growth. Make sure the container has a drainage hole. Plant it at the same depth it is currently in. Rosemary do not require fertilizer however you may add a dry one.
